Day 1 : Hometown - Rome (Italy)
Our Italian holiday begins as we board our comfortable trans-Atlantic flight to Rome, the capital of Italy.
 
Day 2 : Rome (D)
We arrive at Rome, a glorious city full of life and beauty. Tonight, enjoy a typical Italian dinner followed by a good night's rest.

Day 3 : Vatican - Vatican -Sistine Chapel- Sorrento (B/D)
Our guided tour of Vatican includes the magnificent St.Peter's Basilica, the awe - inspiring St. Peter's Square,and the incomparable Sistine Chapel, containing Michelangelo's greatest masterpiece: “Creation” and “Last Judgment”. We then travel to Sorrento, a beautiful resort city overlooking the breathtaking Bay of Naples.Tonight, enjoy a typical local dinner.

Day 4 : Sorrento - Capri - Pompeii- Naples (B)
Capri, a legendary island that has enchanted people with its blue beauty throughout the ages, still attracts tourists from all over the world year round. A fast ferry transfers us to the island, free time to enjoy the island's elegant cafes, splendid promenades, and multitude of shops. We then travel to Pompeii, where a licensed local guide will provide an in-depth introduction to its history and its people. Afterwards, travel to Naples, a fabled city located at the foothills of Mt. Vesuvius. Free time to stroll around, enjoy an espresso or shop for souvenirs.

Day 5 : Naples - Rome - Assisi (B/D)
This morning return to Rome and free time to enjoy the beautiful Spanish Steps and the nearby Via Condotti, a street full of shops selling famous Italian brands; also nearby is the 250 years old, but still elegant and popular Caffe Greco. Later, we travel to Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage city and the birth and burial place of St. Francis of Assisi. The 800 years old, early Gothic Basilica di St. Francis is famous for its frescos painted by Cimabue and Giotto.

Day 6 :Assisi - Pisa -Florence (B/D)
Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and the cultural and artistic heart of Italy. A guided tour of Uffizi Museum, which has the richest collection of Italian artworks in the world and some of the most famous paintings: Botticelli's Birth of Venus, “the Journey of the Wise Men” by Da Vinci. Later, a walking tour to see some of the famous sights in the city. Some free time to shop for Florence's handcrafted, naturally dyed leather goods and exquisite gold jewelry before traveling to Pisa to see one of the wonders of the world, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Tonight, enjoy a Tuscany style dinner with live music. (Menu: minestrone soup, spaghetti, pizza, red wine beef stew, panna cotta (Italian cream custard), Italian red wine included.)

Day 7 : Florenc - Venice - Verona(B)
Travel to Venice, a glorious city as exquisitely beautiful as a jewel box, once a maritime super power and the richest city in the world. A fast boat transfers us to St. Marco Island where we'll visit Piazza San Marco, Basilica St. Marco, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and the Campanile. An optional gondola ride (with live music) provides close-up views of elegant Venetian palaces and intimate canals. Later, travel to Verona, famously as the setting for Shakespeare's play “Romeo and Juliet”.

Day 8 : Verona - Milan)(B/D)
Verona, a UNESCO world heritage site, has one of the best-preserved old town centers in Italy, boasting many buildings from ancient Roman, medieval and renaissance times. Photo stops at Juliet's balcony and statue, and the nearby 2000 years old Roman Amphitheater. Continue to Milan, famed as a city of fashion and design. We'll visit the Cathedral (Duomo), admired for its brilliant gothic façade and intricately carved stone statues, nearby is one of Europe's most elegant shopping mall, and the legendary La Scala Opera House. Free time to shop until you drop: all the famous Italian fashion brands are represented here. Tonight, enjoy a splendid farewell dinner of Milanese food.

Day 9 : Milan - Hometown (B)
